Was a nice little hotel. Hottub was out of order but not their fault. Some of the guests were just rude but employees were nice. Enjoyed it overall.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. However, the walls are paper thin. We could hear every word the man next door was saying. Also, it really needs updating. I assume the hot tub has been out of commission for some time being there were a lot of dead bugs on the bottom of it. The pool was nice and it was good size. The rooms had a fridge and microwave. Aside from the thin walls, it was a decent place to stay for the price.
Nice room, recently remodeled. Sebastian was excellent in providing everything we needed. Hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable. Only drawback was that hot tub was not working.
Over the phone, a maintenance man told us that the pictures were generic and not of the actual hotel rooms there (renovated), but the hotel seemed like the best option for our travels. To our delight, we did get a renovated room exactly like in the picture and it was wonderful! We loved the room. I'm giving 4 stars because of the phone conversation and the room needed more or brighter lights. We did have a sconce in our room though, which was pretty neat. :)
For the price, I expected much better. Exterior of this motel was severely run down and poorly kept. Interior was not much better. Bathroom was very tiny and in poor repair. We had a pet with us and I think they automatically give you the worst room for the highest price (my dog is cleaner, quieter and better behaved that many kids I see). To say you get what you pay for did not apply here. That being said.....the bed was clean and fairly comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was very good.
