Very nice state park located on old 27 going north toward Gaylord. The park is right next to Otsego lake which means it has a boat launch for fishing, tubing, ect. The campground is kinda on the same side but has great showers and bathrooms. Try not to go on the holidays, the place is a madhouse. If you don't have a choice, please make a reservation in advance (like 6months sometimes!)
Biggest annoyance - dogs. Barking and owners ignoring - no animals on beach signs. DNR must do a better job of enforcing rules, or better yet, do not allow animals in park.
Very nice.
Auburn consulting copier repair service and sales.
Campground store looked rundown. Again, embarrassing for a state park.
Out if town but close enough if you forgot something , easy ride to go get it.
Great park, very quiet at all times and a ton of trees for shade. Being on a lake is a bonus. Also close to town of you happen to forget anything. Our current camp site is very deep which allows us to back out tow vehicle up to our 25 foot camper. The camp store doesn't offer much but kids can get candy and the family can go down for a scoop of ice cream.
This is a great place to bring the family. There is a lake for fishing, boating relaxing. Beach is great. A swimming place is marked off. Has a playground. Has a campground.
Cons: shower rooms should be rebuilt. Embarrassing for a state park. Dark and do not look clean.
Pros: friendly staff, beautiful park, huge lake, nice boat launch, sandy beach, awesome sunsets.
