Been going there since I was a little kid. My best friends Mother in law bought a Cabin near Gaylord and I talked my buddy into going to check it out and they have been many times since. His Son loves the displays, and his wife likes the fudge and gift shop. I should be a Call of the Wild Ambassador.
Our children are 11 and 5. We absolutely loved this little museum. The glass was so clean, you thought there wasn't glass there at all. Very educational. The gift shop was great. They have fudge!!!
As a kid, I would always pass by this place on the highway. At age thirty I finally stopped by and it was awesome. And it has a really nice gift shop.
We had such a nice time here today!! The fudge is AMAZING!! The display and information is awesome! We LOVED the horn/phones... my son got sooooo excited when we would find them!! The scavenger hunt was fun!!! Did I mention the fudge was AMAZING!!! The owners were soooooo sweet and their daughter was seriously so kind and upbeat!! We really enjoyed ourselves and we WILL be back!!!
Easy to find (right off 75) interesting displays of northern wildlife. Even has recorded calls from different animals. I'd friendly and has a very large gift shop with great prices. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something laid back and educational to do for a couple hours and if you enjoy shopping
