Pretty sure this set up is a scam lol if not it sure is shady.Theres 2 listings on google.2 numbers so I went into walmart in Gaylord.spoke w someone.set an appointment got a business card.Wanted to ask more about fees I wasnt clear on the whole if its taken out of your return its $63 PLUS $49 for a "bank routing fee"since I hadnt heard of that and wanted to ask more.Though I was assured cash or check would prevent that...The #s on the biz card are iffy to.The Gaylord local one (the one i went into)I thought Id be calling had a recording for a cherryland mall JH. The year round Traverse # is where I could contact a person about my local Gaylord appt its where they relay my messages or rescedules or answer my questions i guess .sounds like alot of indirectness to me.But anyway when asking about the $63 fee I said it was fine and H nR block wouldve charged me $50 for filing and everything.i also told him I got a quote from them and figured they could match it if not beat it.even if they match id go with them even if filing was a bit more.he asked what my quote was. I told him.It wasnt great.about $1000 fed and $50 state lol he said "Im good with that and hung up" wow.He was just guy who answered not who I had appointment with.was it too difficult to match?or to small an amount?or what exactly? How bizarre. Sounds very shady to me.
